She didn't realize that oil paints took so long to dry. Yes, she knew that they definitely took longer than acrylics and found the idea of it all very enticing. In fact, she enjoyed working with them so much that she yelled through the house "Once you go oil, you never go back!" However, she thinks that this painting shall remain a mixed media of oil and acrylics. After all, she only has oil blue and white because this current scene is "ocean-y," as asked for by the people with the money.

She's not sure yet if there is a difference in painting for other people for a change, but she knows that by the time she's finished with it, she'll know.
